About MCP Reference
MCP Reference is a community-maintained directory of Model Context Protocol servers. It exists to make it easier to discover, compare, and install MCP servers for use with AI assistants, agents, and developer tools.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external tools and data sources. MCP servers expose a set of named tools that AI models can invoke — ranging from filesystem access and database queries to browser automation and API integrations.
Verified servers
Servers marked Verified are official servers published by Anthropic or the named vendor. Community servers are listed as-is without endorsement.
Contributing
To add or update a server listing, open a pull request on GitHub. Each server entry requires a valid source URL, real install command, and accurate tool list.
